Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These terms cover your use of this website, including the contact form, the client portal and QR guest-upload pages. They are not the terms for booking a Museu service — bookings are covered by separate written booking terms.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Museu Ltd, trading as Museu.

  • Legal entity: Museu Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17448714), trading as Museu
  • Correspondence address: 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk IP28 7DE, United Kingdom
  • Email: hello@museu.co.uk

2. Using these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.

3. Information, prices and bookings

  • Service descriptions and prices on this website are for general information and may change. They are not an offer that can be accepted.
  • Sending an enquiry does not create a booking or reserve a date.
  • A booking is confirmed only by Museu's separate written booking confirmation or agreement, and any payment it requires.
  • Services, availability, venue suitability, travel and bespoke or personalised work are all subject to that written confirmation.

4. Using the website properly

You may use this website for lawful, personal or business purposes connected with Museu's services. You must not:

  • use it unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm anyone;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems, the client portal or another person's account or event;
  • try to get around event separation, access end dates, upload limits, expiring links or security checks;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful material, or interfere with how the website works;
  • copy, scrape or automatically collect content from the website without our permission.

5. Client portal

Client portal access is given by Museu for a specific event. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly at hello@museu.co.uk if you think someone else has used them. Portal access may end on a date set for your event.

6. Guest uploads

If you upload through a QR guest-upload page, you confirm that:

  • you took the photographs or videos, or have permission to share them;
  • you have appropriate permission from identifiable people shown, particularly for any content involving children;
  • the content is lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights or privacy;
  • it is not offensive, harmful, explicit, abusive or misleading, and contains no harmful files.

Museu reviews uploads before they are made available and may reject or remove any upload, at any time, including uploads that break these rules.

7. Ownership

Museu's name, branding, website text, designs and other original material on this website belong to Museu or its licensors. You may not reuse them without permission.

You keep ownership of anything you upload. Museu does not buy or take ownership of guest uploads. You give Museu only the limited permission needed to store, review, process (for example, preparing previews) and provide your upload to the client for that event, for as long as needed to provide it.

8. Availability and third-party links

We aim to keep the website available and working correctly but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or suspend parts of it, for example for maintenance or security.

Links to other websites or services are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, and to any separate booking agreement, we are not responsible for losses arising from use of this website that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses where the website is used for business purposes.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep any mandatory protections of your local law and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
